Rob Farella, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor
Rob was a computer geek before he discovered yoga. The years in front of a computer and the stress of a corporate job had him seeking a new path. A chance try at yoga became a new career and way of life. Philips began a program in the office called Yoga @ Work. It even had a geeky title. He resisted for 2 years but after hurting himself for the umpteenth time at the gym he thought there must be something better he could do to stay healthy. He decided to try yoga and after the first class he was hooked. Encouraged and mentored by certified Anusara instructor Lara Demberg Voloto, he decided to enter teacher training.
Rob has been practicing yoga since 2004 and is now on the path to becoming an inspired Anusara instructor and has successfully completed Anusara 200 hr Teacher Training with certified Anusara instructors Ross Rayburn and Bernadette Birney. He holds an RYT 200 registration with Yoga Alliance. He has also completed workshop intensives with John Friend and Sally Kempton.

From 1996 to 2004, Anne worked for HBO as an online round-by-round boxing commentator. All the while Anne continued to hit the gym, developing her unique workout, based on boxing but integrating other exercise techniques to hit every muscle group. Anne’s Press.
Today, in hour-long-plus workouts at Vikasa Studio, Anne’s students train interval-style, using the three-minute timing of boxing rounds. Sure, they learn classic fighters’ techniques, but something more happens, too. “I attract a lot of creative people. Boxing can help you transition into a more creative state of mind and some of my clients use it for that purpose. It’s very physical yet incredibly mental at the same time.”
